this is an elegant, unique, one of a kind  antique multi-strand oxidized sterling silver bracelet made entirely of oxidized (darkened) sterling silver in 3 different chain styles.

The ‘ciurunji’ is named after the God given wife of Mwenendega. Here is the story;

According to the Embu ancestral origin mythology, the Embu have been on their land since the beginning of time.

Embu mythology claims that the Embu people originated from ‘Mbue Njeru‘ in the interior of Embu, close to Runyenjes town. The mythology claims that ‘Mwene Njeru’ (God) created Mwenendega and gave him a beautiful wife by the famous Mbui Njeru waterfall—hence her name “Ciurunji.”

The couple was blessed with wealth, and their descendants populated the rest of Embu.

why we chose silver for this project;
